Wine Festival

The 12th Nantucket Wine Festival (www.nantucketwinesfestival.com) will be held May 14 – 18, 2008, with the Gala and Silent Auction on May 15 and the Wine Auction Dinner on May 17. For more information and tickets, please call 508-228-1894, ext. 130.

Partnering with the Nantucket Wine Festival, the Nantucket Historical Association is the nonprofit beneficiary of the Silent Auction at the festival’s tremendously popular Gala and of the elegant Wine Auction Dinner at the White Elephant. 

The Gala features food and wine pairings from more than thirty renowned chefs and vineyards as well as a Silent Auction of wonderful contributed items – from vineyard vacations to catered boat picnics. 

The Wine Auction Dinner showcases the cuisine of renowned chefs, paired with expertly chosen wines. Generous support for the Wine Auction Dinner is provided by individuals and businesses that donate exceptional wines to the auction and by dinner attendees at the “Oenophile” and “Vigneron” levels.  Proceeds from these events support an expanding schedule of year-round educational programs for children at the Whaling Museum and historic sites.
