Join us for the fifth annual Design Luncheon, moderated by Hilary Gustafsson and featuring John Ike, Thomas A. Kligerman, and Joel Barkley of Ike Kligerman Barkley at Great Harbor Yacht Club. The luncheon will feature a champagne reception and a multimedia presentation by the designers, followed by a Q & A session.
Ike Kligerman Barkley is a renowned architecture and interior design firm that specializes in everything from personalized living environments to high-profile public buildings. With offices in both New York City and San Francisco, they serve clients from coast to coast and beyond, using both traditional handicraft and cutting-edge processes.
Ike Kligerman Barkley has received numerous awards including the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter Award, the Decoration & Design Building Stars of Design Award, the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) Julia Morgan Award and the ICAA Stanford White Award, as well as participating in Architectural Digest’s AD 100 since 1995. In 2010, they published their first book Ike Kligerman Barkley: Houses, and their second, The New Shingled House, in October 2015.

Join us for the sixth annual all-star Design Panel, moderated by Nantucket and New York-based designer Susan Zises Green. In addition to being the NHA Design Panel moderator, Susan Zises Green has been a leader in the field of interior design for decades, using traditional and contemporary resources to create beautiful and comfortable interiors.
The Design Panel brings together some of the most outstanding design talent in the Whaling Museum for a topical discussion on the latest trends, followed by a cocktail reception on the museum’s rooftop observation deck. This year’s stellar lineup of designers consists of Nancy Braithwaite, James Huniford, Juan Montoya, Charles Pavarini III, and Suzanne Rheinstein.

Building on the excitement of the Antiques Show Preview Party of past years, the New Party at the Oldest House delights party-goers like never before, now on a Saturday night!
This fabulous party under a tent at the beloved Oldest House is a night of sights, sounds, and tastes, featuring new elements like signature “New Party” cocktails, a bourbon bar, adventurous food stations, live music and dancing to The Sultans of Swing, Spanky’s Raw Bar, and beautiful lounges for relaxation. At every turn, guests will engage their imaginations with new creative visions and have a night they will never forget.
Under the tent, guests will be able to immerse themselves into design by relaxing in one of the four distinct lounge seating vignettes featuring the talents of Trudy Dujardin of Dujardin Design, Donna Elle of Donna Elle Seaside Living, Barbara Halsted of Fenwick House Design, and Michelle Holland of Nantucket House Antiques & Design Studio. During this year’s Nantucket by Design week, New York School of Interior Design students will design vignettes to be on view at the NHA’s Oldest House historic property. Ellen Fisher, NYSID Dean and VP for Academic Affairs, has designed a course that aims to provide students with a show house experience. Students will be on-site at the Oldest House to discuss their work and creative visions with visitors.
