February Food For Thought Speakers Announced
The Nantucket Historical Association is pleased to announce the upcoming slate of speakers scheduled to appear in February as part of the Food for Thought lecture series:
• Thursday, February 2: Melissa Philbrick, Executive Director of ReMain Nantucket, will discuss the complexities involved with “ReMain-ing Nantucket.”
• Thursday, February 9: Peter Morrison, Demographer, will discuss “Nantucket’s Changing Demographics.”
• Thursday, February 16: “Conserving Nantucket Gam,” featuring Nantucket Conservation Foundation Executive Director Jim Lentowski and Nantucket Island Land Bank Executive Director Eric Savetsky.
Food for Thought is the NHA’s free weekly brown-bag lunch lecture series. From noon – 1 PM, attendees are invited to listen to notable Nantucketers discuss their unique visions of Nantucket, past, present, and future.
