NHA offers Family Crafts Workshop
NANTUCKET MA: What do March hares and the Mad Hatter Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland have to do with the Whaling Museum? The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is delighted to offer a Family Crafts Workshop, on Saturday, March 20, from 1 to 4 P.M., in the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street. NHA members, $20 for a group of up to four; nonmembers, $25 for a group up to four; $5 for each additional person. Maximum of six per group.
Children and families are invited to work together and create decorative and functional placemats for your own March tea party, or any other festive meal or occasion in your home. Each group will have the opportunity to produce four placemats and a complementary table runner. Each piece may be customized using a variety of patterns and designs.
All supplies are included, and instruction will be offered, but bring your creativity. NHA members, $20 for a group of up to four; nonmembers, $25 for a group up to four; $5 for each additional person. Maximum of six per group.
