Historic Preservation
While the Nantucket Historical Association is concerned about preserving historical material as part of its central mission, it is not an organization involved with the regulation of preservation restrictions.

An important organization to investigate if you are interested in historic preservation would be the Town and County of Nantucket's Historic District Commission. This would be the organization to consult for signage regulations, paint color restrictions, etc.
