James T. Worth
1930s to 1960s

The colorful James “Jimmy” T. Worth ran this liquor store with his wife, Anna, in the post-Prohibition era. He made deliveries in a Model-T Ford truck. In 1958 Worth moved his store to Old North Wharf, and in 1963 changed the name to “Worth’s Package
Store.”
