These early-twentieth-century furniture makers crafted reproduction colonial and early-American household furniture, made repairs, and furnished articles for Sylvia’s Antiques. The signmaker, W. P. Hardy, owned Hardy’s hardware store on South Water Street, now the site of several shops and an art gallery.
