46 Centre Street
Mr. & Mrs. T. C. Pitman
1900s to 1920s

After 1900, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Pitman had a boardinghouse at the corner of Centre and Quince Streets, which was once the residence of the ill-fated Captain George Pollard of Essex-disaster fame. The building housed the Seven Seas Gift Shop for many years and is now a boutique inn.
