On June 21st, between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m., NHA members and friends gathered at 7 Fair Street to celebrate the opening of "Embroidered Narratives." It was a joy to see the many supporters of Susan Boardman's fine work celebrating the legacy of strong, independent Nantucket women.

The four of the nine women "still breathing" (as described by Libby Oldham), were in attendance with their family and friends. Executive director Frank Milligan and chief curator Niles Parker welcomed the festive crowd and thanked Susan Boardman for sharing her artistry with the NHA.
