Food for Thought Program Series 2008:
Community Lunch and Lecture Series
Objective: The mission of the NHA is to infuse a greater appreciation and respect for the important historical role that Nantucket has played in national and world heritage. The NHA also aspires to reach out and serve diverse audiences as a year-round organization. Toward this end, one of the programs it will be offering is a Brown Bag Lunch Series. We call it Food for Thought, and here's the menu:
Bring a sandwich to the Discovery Room of the Whaling Museum. Enter by the Discovery Room door on Broad Street. Talks are free to the public and will be given by notable Nantucketers on a range of fascinating topics. This community program will continue through the winter.
Brownbags are finished for this season. See you next year!
