Painted Canvas Placemats & Table Runner, with Mary Emery Lacoursiere
Wednesday, August 18, to Friday, August 20: 1 A.M.–1 P.M.
Member $175; Nonmember $225
The traditional techniques used for floor cloths are used in this scaled-down version to create placemats and a table runner. Students will make a set of six placemats and one table runner. Create a Nantucket-themed set using designs such as a compass rose, ropes, ships, and shells. You may also want to free-hand paint. This is truly customized to your own style. Once the mats are polyurethaned, they will stand up to any hungry crowd.
All materials provided. Maximum class size: 10
