Wooden Whales and Rainbow Fleet Ornaments, with Charlie Munro

The whaling industry was once the mainstay of the Nantucket economy, and the island’s modern-day rainbow fleet is a Nantucket icon.
Using carved wooden whales and sailboats, students will have the opportunity to turn these ornaments into colorful treasures for holiday or anytime decorations. The wooden blanks are provided as are all paints and brushes.
A frequent instructor at the NHA’s 1800 House, Charlie Munro will guide students to complete several treasures.
