Folk Art Painting for Holiday Cards, with Jan Munro
Wednesday, November 3: 4 - 7 P.M.
Member $35; Nonmember $50

Folk Art, a traditional art style, was historically produced by peasants, seamen, country artisans, and tradespeople with no formal training.

It was predominantly done as fine art on functional objects, typically produced by hand, and used for decorating furnishings and homes.

Jan Munro, Folk Art painter and NHA 1800 House instructor, will guide participants in painting a small holiday painting suitable for reproducing as holiday cards.

The design, paint, and brushes are all provided. Paper and envelopes are also provided to help students start on their holiday correspondence.
