Mermaid Collage Cards One Day Workshop, with Bee Shay
Monday, August 24: 9 A.M.–1 P.M.
Member $125; Nonmember $175

Come for a day of fun and paper play, putting together collaged cards with beautiful handmade papers. The scissors will be flying and the paper will be everywhere so be prepared to dig in and play, play, play. You will leave with a halfdozen or more handmade cards, complete instructions to take home with you to work on your own and a new and fun way to make your correspondence more interesting and personal. You may never mail these card, they most likely will end up in frames and gracing your home. It’s a twofold (pardon the pun) opportunity to send a card and a piece of art as a gift at the same time. Surface design techniques for papers will be demonstrated and students will have the opportunity for hands-on experience creating cards in their own style. Students will have the opportunity to explore the style of the Shakers where function and form are married in a joyous union.

All materials provided. Maximum class size: 10
