December Food For Thought Lectures Features the Inquirer & Mirror
and the Maria Mitchell Association
The Nantucket Historical Association is pleased to announce the upcoming slate of speakers for the Food for Thought Lecture series:
- Thursday, December 8: Marianne Stanton, Publisher of the Inquirer and Mirror, discusses “The Future of News Delivery.”
- Thursday, December 15: Janet Schulte, Executive Director of the Maria Mitchell Association, discusses “Envisioning the Nantucket Science Center.”
There will be no Food for Thought lectures on either December 22 or December 29, in observance of the holiday season. The series will resume in January 2012 and run through April.
Food for Thought is the NHA’s free weekly brown-bag lunch lecture series. From noon – 1 PM, attendees are invited to listen to notable Nantucketers discuss their unique visions of Nantucket, past, present, and future.
