Drop-in Family Workshop: Celebrate Father's Day
Children and families are invited to make art, cards, and gifts for Father's Day. Artifacts from the NHA's collections will provide the inspiration for hands-on activities, including collages and historic photographic portraits, which are sure to produce cherished family mementos. Free for NHA members or with museum admission. Saturday, June 18, 1 – 4 P.M., at the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street.
Free Event: Four Centuries Walking Tour
Explore the changes in Nantucket's architecture and domestic life from the seventeenth century through the twentieth century during a special walking tour co-hosted by the Nantucket Historical Association, Maria Mitchell Association, and Nantucket Preservation Trust. The tour begins at the Oldest House and visits the Maria Mitchell House, Hadwen House, and Greater Light. Free, Saturday, June 18, 10 A.M.; meets at the Oldest House, 16 Sunset Hill.
