NANTUCKET MA: The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is offering free programs for children on Wednesday, February 2, 9 & 16, 2 to 4 P.M. Participants are asked to enter through the Discovery Room door, to the right of the main Museum entrance, 13 Broad Street.
This free program for Nantucket‘s school-age children and their families will allow children to explore Nantucket history through Nantucket stories, a hands-on look at artifacts from the NHA collection, and enjoy educational crafts and games. Groups of children are also welcome, but must be accompanied by adult companions.
The Discovery Room is a comfortable family space that features crafts, hands-on opportunities, and a library for families. Come in and enjoy an afternoon of fun and exploration, showcasing items that could be found in many Nantucket homes.
Every day will highlight a different topic by offering crafts and stories.
