The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is a private, nonprofit organization, recognized as an educational institution. The Whaling Museum, an NHA property located at 13 Broad Street in Nantucket, permits NHA members, nonmembers, corporate groups, and nonprofit organizations (20% discount for Nantucket nonprofits) to use its facilities for functions, meetings, and special events in order to advance its mission: The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket Island and fosters an appreciation of its historic significance.
